My name is Matthew, and I'm currently a software engineer at Spins LLC.. I'm able to code primarily in Kotlin, Javascript, Java, and Python. I have knowledge of frameworks that include React and Spring Boot. Please check out some of my projects.
Working at SPINS I've been able to work on mutliple projects that help collect and use product details for natural food retailers. I've been apart of two massive project conversions. The first was changing our REST API endpoints to GraphQL queries and mutations, and the second was converting all of our Java code to Kotlin. I've also built numerous features that have increased productivity for the users of the projects I've worked on.
I was able to learn alot about the intricacies including using version control, deployment, and different design patterns. The project I worked on helped store banking information for the team I was apart of. The original application had been built on VB, but was supposed to be fully migrated to ASP.NET MVC. I was able to demo every two weeks on the implementations of the services I had migrated over. I used SSMS and debugging to reverse engineer the capabilites of the original application. The new services were able to run much faster and was now accessible from the web.
Worked with the lab director in order to create multiple applications to help aid in their biomedical research. Utilized MatLab and C# for all projects including a report generator.
I attended UWM with a grade point average of 3.6.
This calculator uses postfix notation to evaluate expressions. This project is programmed with JavaScript.

This web application uses Django (python framework) for the backend and angularJS for the frontend. It stores the user's password's for specific sites, and it also stores memos. In addition, this app is able to create a fairly strong password with the help of the user's input.
